NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT OF CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
PURSUANT TO SECTION 111.70(4)(cm)2, WISCONSIN STATUTES, THE PUBLIC IS HEREBY INFORMED THAT ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2021, AT 9:00 A.M., VIA TELEPHONE AND IN THE ADMINISTRATION'S BOARD ROOM, ROOM 2271, AT 4751 S. COUNTY ROAD F, MAPLE, WI, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MAPLE AND REPRESENTATIVES OF AFSCME, LOCAL 1397-A, REPRESENTING THE BUS DRIVERS AND MECHANICS, WILL HOLD AN OPEN MEETING AT WHICH TIME THE PARTIES WILL SUBMIT THEIR INITIAL BARGAINING PROPOSALS TO THE OTHER PARTY IN WRITING. IN ADDITION, AT THIS MEETING EACH PARTY WILL PRESENT SUPPORTING RATIONALE FOR ITS PROPOSALS. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT FOLLOWING THE EXCHANGE OF PROPOSALS, THE PARTIES WILL CONTINUE TO BARGAIN IN EITHER OPEN OR CLOSED SESSION.

NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD SPRING PRIMARY ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to the electors of the School District of Maple that a spring primary election for school board members will be held on the 16th day of February, 2021. Voting will be conducted at the regular polling places in each township or village From 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each qualified voter should vote in the township or village of which he/she is a resident. The
following is a sample of the ballot, including the names of all candidates in the order in which they will appear on the official ballot. Each elector may vote for two candidates for school board. Four candidates will progress to the April 6, 2021 ballot for the spring election.

2020 Fall Sports Recognition
Due to our inability to hold our traditional sports banquets, as well as hold our typical Recognition Assemblies during the school day as we did last spring with our Honors Banquet and Commencement...we did what we hope is the next best thing by creating this slideshow recognizing and celebrating our student-athletes and their accomplishments. Thank you to our kids, coaches, parents and community for their participation and support of NHS during this fall season. TigerProud!!

Athletics News: Monday, December 7, 2020
The Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association has named Northwestern HS Boys Cross Country Coach, Phil McGrath, as the District 1 Boys CC coach of the year.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Friday, December 4, 2020
ATTENDING CO-CURRICULAR EVENTS AT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MAPLE
Until December 14, 2020 the School District of Maple will only be allowing spectators at school sponsored co-curricular events that have a pass from the school. This will be 2 passes per player and no visiting spectators will be admitted.
After December 14, 2020, pending board of education action, the school district will allow spectators to attend school sponsored events for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. With the COVID 19 Pandemic, we will have expectations of adult & student spectators at these events in order to help mitigate the spread of the virus so we can continue and maintain educational and co-curricular activities.
- Commit to social distancing (6’) at events.
- Families should be seated together, socially distanced from others.
- PK- 5 Students must sit with a parent/family member.
- High school students can be seated in the student section, socially distanced.
- People should NOT attend an event if they:
- Have tested Positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- Have been identified as a close contact to a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- Are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms: Fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
- By State mandate, all spectators as well as players, coaches, officials and event workers are required to wear a face covering at events.
- Please make use of the hand sanitizer that will be provided.
- There will be no concessions available
- Games will be live streamed on iFan and/or on Hudl Focus which can be accessed on the School District of Maple YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1oEYIUl3BHnn95YeyIwGWg/).
- At the conclusion of an event, spectators should immediately exit the facility.
These protocols must be followed for us to continue to host events with spectators. An increase in positive cases will lead to the possible cancellation of events.
