The School District of Maple is committed to providing safe, efficient, and supportive learning environments for all students and staff for years to come. To ensure our buildings meet the current and evolving needs of our students, our district has conducted a comprehensive facilities assessment through a partnership with Miron Construction.
In April of 2025, architects and engineers from various specialty areas (structural, mechanical, site/civil, electrical, plumbing, technology, etc.) conducted site visits. They examined everything from building systems and structural integrity to classroom layouts and accessibility. The goal of this project was to identify areas of need and ensure our facilities continue to support quality education now and into the future.
Our team worked with engineers and architects from Miron and ISG to identify the most critical projects with immediate needs and projects that will need to be addressed now and projects with are emerging and will to be address in the near future (within the next 3-6 years).
There was a Community Information Session to learn more about the needs and proposed solutions on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the NHS Auditorium. Here is the YouTube Link to that presentation: https://www.youtube.com/live/kKuvP0Ur8zc?si=f06n5tcN8Z90a9sa
All buildings have needs and they include the following areas (click each to see more information):

Goals of the Facilities Assessment:
- Identify critical infrastructure needs and safety improvements.
- Evaluate space usage to support current and future enrollment.
- Assess building efficiency, including energy and operational costs.
