The NHS Concert Band finished the year strong with their performance at the NMS & NHS Band Pops Concert as well as the 2024 NHS Commencement.
The pep band will perform at the Iron River Blueberry Festival Parade in July and then students will start the year gearing up for the Bayfield Apple Festival Parade.
Choir
Concert Choir and choir seniors performed at the Graduation Ceremony. They had the opportunity to be conducted by Michael Fuchs from UWS! Now, all groups have wrapped up and are excited for next year!
DECA

Breakfast treats are served! Everyone is welcome - you do NOT have to be an athlete. Congratulations to our leaders for next year! We are excited to have Payton Orme, Reagan Eberhardt and Morgan Martens join in the fun with Ashlyn and Addison. Our last FCA Huddle Group will be Fri., May 31. Please watch for any announcements via your Team Reach app. Have a super summer!
NES Mentors
The students at NES are so grateful for our NHS Mentors! We are so proud of each of our NHS students who commit to one AA time per week to befriend an NES student. Communication and commitment are the keys to a successful mentoring relationship. Thank you NHS students for staying true to the purpose of mentoring. Please check with your Cooperating Teacher as this time of year is VERY busy at NES with program and field trips. Special thanks to our seniors! If you are interested in being a mentor for the upcoming school year, please listen to announcements in the fall. Thank you to all who took time to make a difference in the life of an NES student.
SADD
The Students Against Destructive Decisions are working on a couple of different school-wide initiatives. One of your SADD leadership teams handed out bracelets that promote mental well-being. Thank you to that group of students who took time to promote this worthy concept.
Trap Club
The spring 2024 season is almost complete with just our fun night and State Tournament left. We are in Division 2, Conference 3. The state tournament is in Rome WI on June 9th. Wish us luck!
