Recognized at the concert and at the earlier Senior Awards night were the following 2021 Senior Band Awards Recipients:
John Philip Sousa Award: CLAIRE JARMAN
Louis Armstrong Jazz Award: JOEL WALSH
Semper Fidelis Award: AMY BATES

In Addition, Jackson Meller was recognized with a special NHS Band Soloist Award!

We were excited to feature TWO NEW INSTRUMENTS IN THE PERCUSSION SECTION!!  The district recently purchased a vibraphone and marimba.  We were excited to feature them in the upcoming performance and will be using them for decades to come.

Several band members supported the class of 2021 by performing Pomp and Circumstance at the outdoor commencement ceremony.  We were excited to support the class of 2021 one last time this year.

The next performance for the band will be on July 25th at the Iron River Lion’s Club Blueberry Festival Parade!

At the program, we honored the 24 graduating seniors who are in the choir, 20 of whom have been in the choir for their entire 4 years of high school. Congratulations Seniors! We will miss you!!!!!!
