ANNOUNCEMENT: Friday, December 4, 2020
ATTENDING CO-CURRICULAR EVENTS AT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MAPLE
Until December 14, 2020 the School District of Maple will only be allowing spectators at school sponsored co-curricular events that have a pass from the school. This will be 2 passes per player and no visiting spectators will be admitted.
After December 14, 2020, pending board of education action, the school district will allow spectators to attend school sponsored events for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. With the COVID 19 Pandemic, we will have expectations of adult & student spectators at these events in order to help mitigate the spread of the virus so we can continue and maintain educational and co-curricular activities.
- Commit to social distancing (6’) at events.
- Families should be seated together, socially distanced from others.
- PK- 5 Students must sit with a parent/family member.
- High school students can be seated in the student section, socially distanced.
- People should NOT attend an event if they:
- Have tested Positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- Have been identified as a close contact to a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- Are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms: Fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
- By State mandate, all spectators as well as players, coaches, officials and event workers are required to wear a face covering at events.
- Please make use of the hand sanitizer that will be provided.
- There will be no concessions available
- Games will be live streamed on iFan and/or on Hudl Focus which can be accessed on the School District of Maple YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1oEYIUl3BHnn95YeyIwGWg/).
- At the conclusion of an event, spectators should immediately exit the facility.
These protocols must be followed for us to continue to host events with spectators. An increase in positive cases will lead to the possible cancellation of events.
