Mrs. Mack is currently the elementary Art teacher at Northwestern Elementary School in Maple. Mrs. Mack has been in several buildings in our district; from 2007-2014 she taught at Northwestern High School and Iron River Elementary School until she took the reigns from Mr. Swanson at NES in 2015.

Education Background

• Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls
• Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Wisconsin at Superior
• Masters of Education from Saint Mary’s University at Winona Minnesota. 

Before Mrs. Mack came to teaching she worked as an illustrator for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and as a studio artist. Mrs. Mack has been represented by many galleries throughout the U.S. and is a part of the permanent collection at the Tweed Museum of Art on the Campus of the University of Minnesota at Duluth. 

Outside of school Mrs. Mack enjoys spending time with her husband and children, paddling any boat, skiing, knitting, hiking, reading, traveling, cooking, and of course creating art.
